The Effective Supervisor Series

The Greater New Haven and Quinnipiac Chambers have partnered with High Impact Training to offer a new program - The Effective Supervisor Series. The series is an eight-week program designed to strengthen the skills of your new and seasoned supervisory personnel.

How Do Your Supervisors Measure Up?
The positive impact an effective supervisor has on his or her departmental employees is measured in goal attainment, employee morale, low turnover and high employee engagement. All of which positively impact your bottom line!

Create Great Supervisors!
Every business or organization needs great supervisors. The effectiveness of a supervisor has been cited among the top reasons that employees both stay and leave their positions. A study revealed that  50% of employees left their job because of a bad boss. When a supervisor is effective in their position they produce employees who are happier, work harder, are more engaged, achieve goals, and promote a positive spirit throughout the organization.

Mission-Critical Topics Include:
  • Thinking like a supervisor: analytical, conceptual and strategic
  • Making the most of a multi-generational workplace
  • Developing leadership within yourself and others
  • Conducting effective performance reviews
  • Hiring, retaining, and firing employees
