From the Sandbox to the Boardroom, Bullying is Real: How Do Employers Effectively Investigate Bullying in the Workplace? Join us for an opportunity to conduct a workplace harassment investigation into allegations of bullying. While the media has focused on harassment at work, another form of misconduct that is gaining attention worldwide is workplace bullying. It is imperative that employers, both large and small, understand when and how to conduct workplace investigations regardless of the conduct alleged. Attendees will have the chance to experience a workplace investigation into bullying and practice creating and carrying out a plan of action to investigate such allegations. As part of an interactive workshop, Robinson & Cole’s attorneys will role play certain phases of the workplace investigation process based on hypothetical scenarios; following each phase, attendees will help identify and analyze the issues presented. Such issues will include when an investigation must be conducted, who should investigate, how to investigate, and how to memorialize the investigation.
